On Thursday 26 March, Why Be and Abyusif will perform in Sherazade nightclub as a part of DCAF’s music programme.
Based in Denmark, Tobias Lee Christensen, or DJ Why Be, has curated a music event “FOAM”, as a part of the Copenhagen-based festival Distortion. In addition to his EP, which will be released in the summer of this year, Why Be recorded sound tracks for several performances and catwalks.
Abyusif kick started his career from his room, where he produced his recordings and circulated them on the Internet. The event’s press release describes Abyusif’s recordings as a personal outlet that reflects his thoughts through radically humorous lyrics.
