Jordanian singer Diana Karazon has confirmed the launch of her new song “Soft Music” (Mazika Hadia) and has said she will shoot a video for the single soon, regardless of the upheaval in the Arab world. Karazon said to Arabstoday: “I planned to launch the new song on Valentine’s Day but I was afraid I would be criticised for bad timing.” She added: “We are all full of sadness, yet, this is our bread and butter. No one will pay our salaries if we didn’t do our job. I’m Jordanian, with a Syrian mother and living in Egypt. So I’m living with all the problems yet life has to move on.”
