Egyptian director and producer Tarek el-Eryan revealed that he is filming two new songs with his wife. Syrian singer Asalah is releasing her new album “Shakhsya Anida” (Stubborn Person) which will be both filmed in Cairo. In a statement to Arabstoday, Tarek said: “All the songs in the album deserve a video but we decided to start with these two songs, “Shakhsy Anida” and “Ana Ahebak” first.” “Many producers want to work with Asalah as she is such a prominent singer in the Arab world, but at the moment we are focusing on this. I am not greedy and only tell her to work with me. She does have her own voice and is able to introduce her art the way she likes and there is no obligation on who she should work with.” Asalah’s new album is out now.
