Iraqi forces on Monday killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons and equipment in the Mosul’s western al-Saha neighborhood, according to a security source.
The source told Petra’s correspondent in Baghdad that Iraqi forces have captured more than 50 per cent of the al-Saha neighborhood and that counterterrorism forces are advancing to liberate Mosul.
“Counterterrorism forces killed 28 terrorists during the last 12 hours and they are advancing towards the Old City, which is the last stronghold of the terrorist group Daesh in Mosul”, said the source.
