The number of Iraqi people killed when a suicide bomber blew himself up targeting a funeral in Diyala Governorate rose to 15 while more than 30 others were injured on Monday.
In statements, Iraqi Parliament Speaker Selim el Jabouri condemned the attack and described it as "criminal".
Daesh terrorist group is targeting the country after being defeated in several battles, he added, calling on security authorities to give more attention to maintain security.
Meanwhile, Muqdadiya City Council declared three days of public mourning following the attack. It also urged all Iraqi fractions to unite to surpass the ongoing crisis.
