Six Iraqis were killed and seven injured when a militant blew up an explosive-packed vehicle at an army site in the Northern city of Mosul, a security official said Monday. "Five civilians were killed and seven others injured by a suicide bombing in the Arbagiyah district in Eastern Mosul, which also left the bomber dead," Col. Ghaleb al-Taei told Anadolu Agency. No group has claimed responsibility for the bombing. Recent months have seen an uptick in violence across Iraq. Although most attacks go unclaimed, Iraqi authorities usually point the finger at Al-Qaeda-linked militants.
