The “Sinjar Protection Force” killed 21 Daesh terrorists and freed several districts in Nineveh province from the control of the militant group.
The Force had cost Daesh huge losses as it managed to seize two vehicles laden with weapons, senior Force member Haidar Sheikh said.
Most of the terrorists are foreigners, Sheikh said, noting that the Sinjar Force is backing Kurdish Peshmerga forces in the war against Daesh to free Sinjar town in Nineveh.
Meanwhile, local sources in Nineveh said that Daesh militants blew up a strategic bridge in the city that links Sinjar, Rabia and Zamar districts.
