Two people were killed nine others injured in a bomb explosion in Taji district in northern Iraq.
An Iraqi security source said, in a press statement, that an explosive device had been placed near shops in the village of Al Hamamiyat in the Taji district exploded, killing two people and injuring nine others.
The source added that a security force sealed off the scene of the incident while ambulances rushed to take the injured to hospital, and two bodies to the forensic medicine department.
In another incident, a security source in Anbar announced that four suicide bombers were killed while trying to sneak into the centre of Ramadi in western Iraq, adding that the four suicide bombers who had been wearing explosive belts tried to sneak into the city centre, but security forces opened fire to kill them on the spot but no further casualties were reported.
