2 killed, 8 injured by car bomb in Iraq

A car bomb detonated in western Iraq Monday killed at least two people and eight others, officials said. The car bombing took place in Suq al-Maash of western Mosul, IraqNews.com reported. \"The car bomb, which was parking near Maash local market of western Mosul, exploded targeting a security force of the Federal Police,\" a security official said. \"The death toll of the car bombing that targeted the Suq al-Maash of western Mosul rose up to killing two Federal Police elements and injuring six persons and two children,\" another security official said.
