Pakistani President Asif Zardari acted Sunday to give constitutional protection to decisions made by Yousuf Raza Gilani before his ouster as prime minister. Dawn News reported Zardari\'s ordinance affects decisions Gilani made from April 26 to June 19, including agreements made with other countries. The move protects them from being overturned in the courts. Gilani was convicted of contempt of court and subsequently disqualified by Pakistan\'s highest court following a months-long scandal involving loans taken out by his wife that were never repaid.
