Two more people lost their lives and four others were wounded due to violent incidents in Karachi city of southern Pakistan on Friday. According to police, a dead body was found from a house in Defence Phase 2 area of the metropolis. Police suspects that the man was gunned down on resistance to a robbery. Another body was found from Old Haji Camp area but the identity of the man was not yet found. Moreover, different incidents of firing continued in the city wounding at least four people. The violence struck areas included Malir-Saaudabad, Star Gate, MA Jinnah Road and Mai Kolachi areas where four people were damaged due to firing incidents, said police. The violent incident included an armed clash between two groups took place near Karachi airport that injured one person in the wee hours of Friday. Another clash of militants forced police to call for more contingents as the firing continued for at least half ab hour. The security forces cordoned off the areas and carried several search operations for the culprits. The wounded people were shifted to the nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
