Blast in Pakistan
Islamabad - XINHUA

At least five people were killed and 26 others injured in a suicide blast that hit Pakistan's southwest Quetta city Saturday night, officials said.
Abdur Razzaq Cheema, City Central Police Officer (CCPO), said that explosion happened when a suicide bomber ripped through a busy market in Hazara Town area of Quetta, the capital city of the country's southwest Balochistan province.
Hazara Community, an ethnic group of minority Shia Muslims in the city, was the target in the attack, and all the casualties were of Hazara ethnicity, said the police officer.
He said that police found head and body parts of the suicide bomber who seemed to be a teenager between 17 and 18.
The injured people including women and kids have been shifted to a nearby hospital where several of them were reportedly to be in critical condition.
Following the blast, angry Shias in the country's southern port city of Karachi took to streets to protest against the killing of Hazara people in Quetta, and demanded government to protect Shias in Balochistan.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. This was the second attack in Quetta on Saturday.
Earlier in the morning, Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) Muhammad Naeem's vehicle was hit by a remote-controlled bomb. The DSP remained safe in the attack, however, seven people were injured in the explosion.
