At least 11 people were killed including an Additional Session Judge Rafaqat Awan in twin suicidal blasts and firing and hand grenade attack in local courts located in F-8 area of the federal capital Islamabad, said officials. According to initial police reports, two suicide bombers entered in the courtroom of additional judge and opened fire and hurled hand grenade.The suicide bombers blew themselves up after police tried to overpower them. More than 20 other people were also injured in the attack.The security forces immediately cordoned off the area and a search operation went underway.The dead and injured were shifted to the nearby PIMS Hospital.Spokesperson of the hospital, Dr. Ayesha told KUNA that 11 dead bodies have so far been received. She said the injured are being provided medical treatment on emergency basis.
