Pakistan on Thursday hanged four Taliban militants convicted of killing civilians, destroying educational institutions and launching attacks on security forces.
Pakistani Army said in a statement that the four militants were convicted by a military court specialized in terrorism cases, adding that the verdict was executed at the central jail on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
"They were involved in different terror activities including killing of innocent civilians, destruction of communication/ electricity infrastructure, destruction of educational institutions, attacking Armed Forces of Pakistan and Law Enforcement Agencies," said army.
