One watchman was killed and another injured when two separate bomb attacks hit Pakistan's capital Islamabad in the wee hours of Saturday morning, officials said. Dawn TV said that the first blast happened when a suicide bomber ripped through F6 Super Market, an area located near the center of the capital, at about 2:00 a.m. (local time). The blast happened in the parking lot of a medical store, killing one watchman and injuring another. The bomber, who also got killed in the explosion, blew himself up at a time when all shops were closed. Police and bomb disposal squad reached at the blast site and cordoned off the area. The injured watchman was shifted to Poly Clinic hospital where his condition is said to be stable. Half an hour after the Super Market explosion, another blast took place at a bus stand in G9 area of the capital, but no casualty was reported. Police said that the explosives were fixed in a car parked in the area two days ago. No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks yet, but the explosions happened three days after an air strike by Pakistan army at militants' hideouts in the country's northwest tribal region of North Waziristan. Saturday morning's incident was the third of its kind in Islamabad over the last three months. In April, 22 people were killed and many others injured when a bomb went off in a fruit market in the capital. In March, 11 people were killed and several others injured in twin suicide blasts inside a district court in Islamabad.
