Prominent Egyptian belly dancer Fifi Abdo revealed that the highlight of 2011 was her excessive weight loss and the return of her perfect figure. She added that the January 25 Revolution that overthrew ousted President Husni Mubarak also made 2011 a memorable and happy year for her. Fifi stated that despite the numerous happy moments, she encountered a number of heartaches that resulted from untrue rumors about her. The two rumors that had affected her most were the one about her death and the one about her being beaten by people at a public café. On a different note, director Ahmad Al Badri stated that he will begin filming the scenes of the second part of the television drama “Kayed AL Nisaa” (Women’s vengeance) starring Fifi and actress Summaya Al Khashab. Ahmad noted that the first scenes will be shot in early February.
