Uma Thurman shocked fans with a new look on the red carpet Monday.
The 44-year-old actress stepped out at The Slap premiere in New York with sleek hair and minimal makeup. Thurman wore foundation, blush and lipstick, but chose not to enhance her eyes with liner or mascara.
Many deemed the star nearly unrecognizable, with some comparing the change to Renee Zellweger's drastically different appearance. The 45-year-old actress sparked plastic surgery rumors after she debuted a new look at the 21st annual Women in Hollywood Awards in October 2014.
The Slap stars Thurman, Melissa George, Thandie Newton, Peter Sarsgaard and Zachary Quinto. The NBC miniseries will follow the ramifications of a guest slapping a child at Sarsgaard's character's birthday party, and premieres Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.
Thurman is known for Quentin Tarantino films Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, and last appeared in Nymphomaniac: Vol. I and Vol. II. The actress is also scheduled for Anita Bryant biopic Anita and an untitled John Wells project with Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller.
