Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans was arrested Tuesday in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The 23-year-old reality star was taken into custody around 2 p.m. for driving without a license and released on $237.00 bail after 4 p.m. from the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
Evans addressed the incident later on Twitter by retweeting, "Yall chill. she paid a speeding tick 3 days late in 2013 &license was just suspended recently&she had no idea.It's cleared up It's all good." She took to the social media site again Wednesday to further elaborate on her arrest.
"How r u going to suspended my license becuz a seat belt ticket was paid 3 days late back in 2013 ?!" she wrote. "Soooo the NC DMV suspends my license last month then doesn't tell me?! Niiiiice. Got my license back tho."
Evans was last arrested for attacking then-boyfriend Nathan Griffith in December 2013. She has also been arrested for alleged heroin possession, attacking then-husband Courtland Rogers and missing a hearing for a cyber stalking, among other crimes.
Evans came to fame on the second season of MTV series 16 & Pregnant in 2010, and currently stars on Teen Mom 2. She and Griffith, now her fiancé, welcomed their first child, son Kaiser, in June 2014, and the reality star is also mother to son Jace with ex-boyfriend Andrew Lewis.
