Actor and comedian Patton Oswalt will be the host of this year\'s 39th annual Annie Awards show at UCLA\'s Royce Hall, organizers said. The Feb. 4 event will celebrate the best in animation for 2011. \"The Annies are where the real weirdos hang, and it\'s a visual feast just to have a drink with them,\" Oswalt said in a statement Monday. \"I can\'t wait.\" \"Patton\'s comedic talent, audacious humor and love for animation will bring great energy and visibility, not to mention fun, to this year\'s ceremony,\'\' ASIFA-Hollywood President Frank Gladstone said. \"We are extremely excited to have him aboard.\" Oswalt provided the voice for Remy the rat in Pixar\'s Oscar-winning movie \"Ratatouille.\" His live-action film credits include \"Young Adult,\" \"Magnolia,\" \"Big Fan,\" \"Starsky and Hutch\" and \"The Informant.\"
