Lark Voorhies says she isn't being taken advantage of by new husband Jimmy Green.
The 41-year-old actress defended her music engineer spouse in a bizarre interview with Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday. Voorhies and Green met on Facebook in 2014, and married in Las Vegas in April.
"The support [for the wedding] was there," the star said of mother Tricia Holloway. "Specific, necessary, exact. It's all celebratory, so it's a very strong, powerful, ongoing [feeling] and we carry that through. Naturally in all success."
Holloway filed a restraining order against Green in June, claiming her son-in-law threatened her and that her daughter is "psychologically, mentally and emotionally fragile." The newlyweds are living with Holloway, who previously told People her daughter is bipolar.
"We're selectively together for all the right reasons," Voorhies said of Green. "No, [I am not bipolar]. I have always been mentally healthy. 100 percent stable ... I had a sweep with textbook clinical depression in remove of my first marriage. That is basically all it's been."
Voorhies was previously wed to Miguel Coleman from 1996 to 2004. The actress is best known for portraying Lisa Turtle on NBC sitcom Saved by the Bell, and went on to play Wendy Reardon on soap opera Days of Our Lives and Mercedes Langford on In the House.
