Kim Kardashian and Kanye West divorce rumors have been doing the rounds for weeks now. Although Kim’s rep has described the rumors as false, that hasn’t stopped the media from churning out stories about how it was the rapper’s hospitalization that sparked the split rumors, while other conflicting reports suggest there was trouble in paradise well before his breakdown.
“The divorce rumors come from before he had the breakdown. She didn’t know what was up with him and they weren’t spending time together. She didn’t realize it was a mental breakdown,” a source told People magazine.
The “Only One” hitmaker was hospitalized in November after suffering from sleep deprivation and exhaustion, but things had reportedly started going downhill for the rapper in late October.
However, despite the strain and Kanye’s behavior, the source adds that “splitting is not even a point of discussion” between the pair.
Another source previously told the magazine: “Kanye loves Kim very much, and he adores the kids. He would take a bullet for them. They’re his whole world.”If (the family) can get through this, they’ll be so much stronger. I want them to be happy, and I think they will be happier together than they would be apart.”
Meanwhile, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star returned to social media this week following a 10-week hiatus to upload a video to tease her new business venture Kimoji merchandise.
But some criticized her comeback, with blogger and Celebrity Big Brother star Perez Hilton saying he was disappointed.
“I was expecting so much more from your return to social media,” he wrote.
“Sad. Sad. Sad. After your “traumatic” Paris robbery, THIS is how you return to Instagram? Clearly nothing’s changed. (sic)”
