A new Place2B PSA starring the duchess Cambridge urges viewers to fight the stigma associated with mental health problems in children in the U.K.
"A child's mental health is just as important as their physical health and deserves the same quality of support," Kate Middleton says in the clip.
"No one would feel embarrassed about seeking help for a child if they broke their arm; and we really should be equally ready to support a child coping with emotional difficulties."
The clip, which calls for an open discussion about problems like bullying and domestic violence, marks the beginning of Children's Mental Health Week, an event run by Place2Be, one of the many charities supported by the duchess.
Middleton married the duke of Cambridge, Prince William in 2011 and welcomed their first son, Prince George in July 2013. The couple is expecting their second child by April.
