Dame Helen Mirren was not embarrassed after she tripped on a flight of stairs at the 65th Berlin International Film Festival Berlinale. Instead, she laughed off the slip as she was helped to get back on her feet by a bystander.
The mishap took place at the premiere of Mirren's new film, Woman in Gold, which is based on the true story of the late holocaust survivor Maria Altmann, who sued the the Austrian government for the return of artwork the Nazis stole from her family.
After the incident, Mirren -- in a lace emerald green Dolce & Gabbana dress -- allegedly wagged a finger at photographers who captured her fall.
The 69-year-old British actress plays the main character in Woman in Gold and stars alongside Ryan Reynolds, Tatiana Maslany, Elizabeth McGovern and Katie Holmes.
