Lebanese Artist Elissa declared that she is not against having babies without getting married on condition that the father recognizes the baby, stressing that the nature of artists contradict with marriage. Elissa also added that civil affairs laws should be changed accordingly, however she admitted at the same time that her opinions don’t conform to the traditions of the Lebanese society and she is not the kind of persons that rebel against the traditions. In her showing up in (Absher) program presented by presenter Nichan, Elissa stressed that she is not in a love story currently as media venues circulated, adding that if she is in love she would admit so publicly. Elissa also said that she is waiting for her second half, a man that would contain her emotionally and from him she hopes to have a child that fills her life with joy and happiness. She also said that her relation with Haifa’ wahby is very good and no disputes spoil this relations, expressing her wish to make a duet with Amr Diab. The Lebanese artist also made clear that she doesn’t hide her political views and affinities, adding that she is a citizen before being an artist. She also stressed that she lives in a democratic country that respects different opinions whatever they were, so she doesn’t mind having friendships with politicians with varied different political backgrounds.
