Disgraced former reality television star and conservative family values advocate Joshua Duggar has entered a rehabilitation center, where he will undergo treatment on a full-time basis, his parents said Wednesday.
Duggar, 27, entered the treatment facility amid another major scandal that emerged earlier this month -- exposing him for having a paid account on the cheating website Ashley Madison.
The Duggar Family Blog reported the development Wednesday but did not specify what Josh Duggar will be treated for at the facility.
Duggar called himself a hypocrite last week, after he was listed among thousands of current and former users of Ashley Madison -- data which was obtained and subsequently published online by a hacking group called The Impact Team.
The family values advocate has also since admitted an addiction to pornography and difficulties with fidelity.
"As parents we are so deeply grieved by our son's decisions and actions," Duggar's parents, Jim Bob and Michelle wrote on their blog. "[Tuesday] Josh checked himself into a long-term treatment center. For him it will be a long journey toward wholeness and recovery."
Another allegation also surfaced Wednesday. In Touch magazine published claims by adult film performer Danica Dillon that she twice had sex with Duggar after meeting him at a strip club in Philadelphia earlier this year.
