Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan said on Wednesday he received an invitation to attend the 11th annual Marrakesh International Film Festival. Khan confirmed that he will attend the festival, held under the auspices of King Mohammed VI, in the period between December 2-10, where a collection of his films will be shown, in honor of his work that has influenced Indian and world cinema. Khan is considered one of the best and most famous actors all over the world, with a fan base of at least four million. \'Newsweek\' magazine had chosen him in 2008 in a list of the most influential figures around the world,ranking 12th in Time Magazine\'s rival list this year. Khan divides his time between acting and film production in India. He was born on November 2 1965. But his actual start was in the movie \"Deewana\" in 1992, which achieved commercial success, and since has gained international fame and achieved huge financial success, locally and internationally. Khan will receive an award from the festival along with the Moroccan actor Mohamed Bastawi, as the Indian star had received 10 \"Filmfare\" awards for Indian cinema, seven of them in the category of \"Best Actor\". The 11th Marrakech Film Festival will pay tribute to Mexican cinema, through a series of prestigious names that created the golden age of cinema, while Serbian director Emir Kusturica, and American actress Sigourney Weaver will head the Jury of feature and short films respectively.
