Bobbi Kristina Brown's family held a vigil in her honor Monday night as the daughter of the late Whitney Houston remains comatose and on a breathing ventilator at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
The "Shining a Light for Healing" vigil began at 7 p.m. at the Amphitheater at Riverdale Town Center in Riverdale, Ga., ABC News reports. The gathering was open to the public and included prayers, gospel songs and a calling for God's help.
Brown's uncle Tommy Brown, and aunts Tina and Leola Brown hosted the vigil from a makeshift stage from which they watched the event with "solemn faces," according to Us Weekly.
"I know she thanks all of y'all, Continue to pray for us all," her uncle told the crowd. "Remember when you wake up we should all pray for each other,"
Brown, 21, continued to be on life support Friday, almost a week after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Georgia home. Her father, singer Bobby Brown, said last week she was "doing good" and that the family is praying for her.
In addition to asking for privacy, Bobby Brown said in a statement the events of his daughter's hospitalization were being investigated. TMZ reported Wednesday that police in Georgia are looking into whether Bobbi Kristina Brown may have been a victim of foul play.
