Misr Spinning and Weaving Company workers continued their strike Tuesday for the 2nd day running. The striking workers demanded the resignation of Head of the Holding Company Engineering Fouad Abdel Aleem, holding elections for the company board, the application of the minimum wage limit and pumping new investments for the development of the company. An economic ministerial committee has approved the disbursement of the 4th and final batch of the workers bonus, but the company officials has announced that the disbursement will start on February 15, forcing the workers to protest against the decision and stage protests in front of Talaat Harb square in front of the company's main administration building.
