Jordan was elected for the second time as president of the Association of Agricultural Research Institutions in the Near East and North Africa (AARINENA), according to Director General of the National Center for Agricultural Research and Extension (NCARE) Faisal Awawdeh. During AARINENA’s 12th 5-day conference recently held in Kuwait, a number of international organizations discussed the association’s achievements over the last three years and its action plan for the coming year. AARINENA was established in 1985 to strengthen cooperation among national, regional and international research institutions and centers through the dissemination and exchange of information, experiences and research results.(QNA) MD
