Employment in Canada dropped in July, shifting the unemployment rate up 0.1 percentage points to 7.2 percent, the government\'s data office said Friday. There were 39,000 fewer job in the month with employment among youths leading the decline, Statistics Canada said. With July\'s decline, an average 11,000 jobs have been added to the Canadian economy each month in 2013. Employment has risen 1.3 percent since July 2013 with the addition of 226,000 over the past 12 months. Work hours, over the same period, rose 0.7 in the first half of 2013, as part-time employment rose at a faster pace than full time, gaining 2.2 percent compared to 1.1 percent.
