Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Jafar Hassan on Tuesday discussed with British International development secretary Andrew Mitchell and the accompanying, scopes of cooperation between the two countries. The minister reviewed economic challenges facing the Kingdom and urged the international community to support Jordan to enable it to address the difficult economic conditions. The British minister spoke of a package of aid that was announced by Britain to support Syrian refugees in the Kingdom, adding his country was keen to support Jordan in providing services to Syrian refugees. He also hailed measures taken by the government to host Syrian refugees and provide them with needed services.
