The Committee tasked with Implementing the Initiatives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has examined the preliminary list of 250 Emirati applicants for housing during its meeting here in Abu Dhabi. The list was compiled by technical teams tasked with studying these cases to determine their eligibility for these facilities. The Committee is working diligently to deliver the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for securing adequate houses and decent living for every citizen and in implementation of directives of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for swift processing of citizens\' applications. The list is one of a series of lists that will include 1,500 citizens whom the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi gave instructions to grant them houses within the President\'s initiatives. The technical teams are accelerating their work of studying files of those citizens so as to present them to the Committee for final approval. Ahmed Juma Al Za\'abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Committee, said the Committee is determined to implement the President\'s vision for building world-class, fully serviced residential complexes in consistence with the latest international architectural designs and specifications. He affirmed the Committee is also keen to provide these integrated residential communities with all essential services and vital utilities so as to preserve the special character and identity of the Emirati families and strengthen social cohesion in a way that secures decent living to UAE citizens. The Committee, he added, will build state-of-the-art residential complexes for eligible applicants who have satisfied the requirements for getting a house. He indicated that the Committee had previously established buildings for services facilities for every complex with more than 100 villas including a multi-purpose social and sports hall, a supermarket, and a sewage treatment unit to produce recycled water for irrigation. Al Za\'abi also highlighted the committee\'s keenness on securing housing for citizens whose houses were affected by the development projects implemented by the \"Committee tasked with implementing the President\'s initiatives\". To give an alternative housing facility, the Committee approved awarding contract for building 27 houses at Kharan to accommodate those citizens whose houses were affected at Suhaila in Ras Al Khaimah due to the extension project of the Emirate road to Ras Al Khaimah, being built by the Committee. Meanwhile, the Committee looked into a report submitted by Department of Ajman Municipality and Planning about the remaining works in 39 villas in the Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Housing Project at Al Helio. The Committee gave its consent for completing works in these villas for the benefit of their owners. The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdullah Belhev Al-Nuaimi, Mohammed Abdullah Al Rumaithi in addition to a number of officials.
