Qatargas employees have made a financial contribution in support of the Qatar Red Crescent’s (QRC) campaign to deliver aid to the victims of the drought and famine in Somalia. Qatargas Public Relations Manager Mansour Rashid Al-Naimi handed over the cheque to Director of QRC Secretary General Office Adel Ali Al-Baker, during a brief ceremony held at Qatargas’ Doha headquarters. Mr. Al-Baker presented a certificate of thanks and appreciation to Qatargas in recognition of its participation in the campaign. Also present was Firas Abdel Karim Mohammed, Head of Public Donations Section, QRC. Al-Naimi said: \"All thanks and appreciation go out to our employees who have responded very positively towards this humanitarian cause and contributed generously to support the ongoing campaign by QRC, demonstrating a high sense of social commitment and compassion towards fellow human beings. We would like to also thank QRC for their initiative and are very pleased to support their efforts in this regard.\" Similar campaigns in the past have also attracted very good response from Qatargas employees. In September last year, Qatargas employees made a significant financial contribution in support of QRC’s campaign to provide aid to the victims of the massive flooding in Pakistan.
