Kunhadi association for youth awareness on road safety in Lebanon held on Friday a lunch banquet in honor of Pikasso, the leading outdoor advertising company in Lebanon, in presence of Information Minister Walid Daouk, National News Agency Director Laure Suleiman Saab, Kunhadi head Fadi Gibran, Pikasso Chairman and CEO Antonio Vincenti, Lebanese Red Cross head Sami Al-Dahdah, as well as a number of political, media, and social figures. Praising speeches for Kunhadi and PIKASSO were at first delivered by each of the associations\' heads, Gibran and Vincenti, whereby both shed light on the two associations\' role to spread road safety awareness. Gibran called for exerting joint efforts in order to reduce car accidents toll, when, Vincenti, spoke of the Kunhadi\'s permanent work to defend a noble cause. Information Minister Walid Daouk, in turn, said car accidents daily statistics egg us, government and civil bodies, on exerting maximum efforts to avoid major damages such unfortunate accidents may cause. \"Schools, institutions, and every civil body is concerned in this cause,\" Minister Daouk said whereby he drew attention to the importance of being strict in traffic laws\' implementation and control violations. In that respect, Daouk addressed media institutions to propel them to efficiently contribute in spreading awareness. \"Our ambition is to witness civil bodies and association non affiliated to a certain party but work hand-in-hand toward building a society where individuals live with dignity regardless of their sectarian or confessional affiliations,\" he affirmed. Concluding his word, Daouk voiced appreciation for Kunhadi and PIKASSO\'s major efforts to care for public safety and addressed media and advertisement institutions\' owners urging for more cooperation and reinforcement of both sectors.
