The Jordan-Iraq Committee for facilitating transport and trade between the two countries began on Monday with the aim of discussing joint cooperation and means of overcoming bilateral trade difficulties. Undersecretary of the Iraqi Ministry of Transport Benkin Regani said that the decline in trade between the two countries in recent years, due to exceptional circumstances, must be overcome, adding that Iraq was looking forward for more cooperation through the port of Aqaba.
