A group of Indian businessmen will start, as of July 31, a thirty-day visit to Morocco to explore investment and partnership opportunities in the Kingdom. The trade mission includes around fifty representatives of enterprises specialized in the sectors of food-processing, textile and furniture, director of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) S.S. Chawla told MAP. The delegation will take part in the 27th Casablanca international fair slated during the holy month of Ramadan, he added. According to the latest official figures, trade exchanges between Morocco and India increased threefold over the past five years to 1.7 billion dollars in 2010, with over 501 million dollar commercial surplus in favor of Morocco.
