Pakistan\'s benchmark stock index, the Karachi Stock Exchange 100 Index, fell 1.3 per cent at close. The index of 100 companies traded on the Karachi Stock Exchange fell 151.10 to 11,497.04. Among the stocks in the index, 20 rose, 64 fell and 16 were unchanged. Declines in the Karachi Stock Exchange 100 Index were led by Oil & Gas Development, Pakistan Petroleum and Fauji Fertilizer. Top movers MCB Bank Limited, which fell Rs4.32 to Rs147.99, was the most active stock by value in Pakistan. The next most-active issues were Fauji Fertilizer, which fell Rs4.86 to Rs167.50, and Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim, which fell Rs1.46 to Rs55.09.
