Opportunities for boosting environment co-operation between Tunisia and Switzerland were the focus of the meeting held, on Tuesday in Tunis, between Secretary of State in charge of Environment Salem Hamdi and a delegation of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs who is on a working visit in Tunisia. According to a communiqué made public on Tuesday by the Agriculture and Environment Ministry, the two sides discussed means to consolidate environment co-operation between the two countries. During the meeting, it was agreed upon to deepen joint research and thinking among experts and technicians, to mobilise the available means to develop Tunisian-Swiss co-operation during the coming period. The Swiss delegation's visit is part of identifying means to bolster bilateral co-operation in all fields.
