The Qatar Exchange keep its upward trend Tuesday, adding 67.81 points or 0.82% to 8,352.60 points from the previous closing of 8,284.79. The volume of shares traded was up to 5,385,706 from 2,345,414 Monday and the value of shares was increased to QR 244,093,354.81 from QR 188,586,762.16 on Monday. Top gainers were Electricity & Water which was rose 1.54% to QR138.10, Doha Bank up by 2.17% to QR61.30, Intl. Islamic Bank gained 1.52% to QR53.50 and National Leasing up by 1.65% to QR43.20. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector gained 116.67 while Qatar industrial sector up 84.05 points and the Services sector was added 33.45 points.
