The Qatar Exchange down on Thursday 18.03 points or 0.20% to 8,916.90 points from the previous closing of 8,934.93 points. The volume of shares traded fell to 7,399,703 from 10,777,011 Wednesday, and the value of shares decreased to QR245,067,111.76 from QR382,996,897.25 Wednesday. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 0.91% to QR141.70, Industries Qatar lost 1.18% to QR167.00, Qatar Insurance fell 0.86% to QR57.90 and Electricity and Water down 0.83% to QR143.50. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 0.38 points while the Insurance sector down 1.28 points. The Qatar industrial sector dropped 0.81 points and the Services sector added 0.14 points.
