The Lao stock market closed on Monday down by 0.13 percent compared to the previous trading day.
The Lao Securities Exchange composite index decreased by 1.33 points to reach 1,020.59 points after closing.
A total of 25,500 shares worth about 131 million Lao kip (nearly 16,053 U.S. dollars) changed hands at the stock market.
There are five companies listed at the Lao stock market. Three of them saw no trade on Tuesday, including Souvanny Home Center Public Company (SVN), Petroleum Trading Lao Public Company (PTL) and Lao World Public Company (LWPC).
Shares of Lao commercial bank Banque Pour Le Commerce Exterieur Lao (BCEL) fell by 1.79 percent to 5,500 Lao kip (over 67 U.S. cents).
Shares of state-run energy giant Electricite du Laos Generation Public Company (EDL-Gen) stayed unchanged at 5,000 Lao kip (over 61 U.S. cents).
