The Dubai Police are investigating a number of complaints received by Naif police station from persons complaining that a money exchange office did not transfer their money to their countries, in addition to the disappearance of two employees.
A security source has affirmed that the police received 10 complaints up until Monday afternoon, and they are currently counting the number of victims, pointing out that the total amounts which have not been transferred reached about Dhs6.5 million.
The source added the search is underway for two of the office’s Asian employees who disappeared several days ago.
According to the source, there were other victims who rushed to the police station to submit their complaints.
