Dollar trades in lower 78 yen range in early Tokyo deals

The US dollar traded at the lower 78 yen level early Tuesday in Tokyo. At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 78.33-34 yen compared with 78.25-35 yen in New York and 78.23-24 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday. The euro fetched 1.2325-2327 dollar and 96.54-57 yen against 1. 2327-2337 dollar and 96.55-65 yen in New York and 1.2279-2280 dollar and 96.06-10 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon.
