The U.S. dollar traded above the 78 yen line early Tuesday morning in Tokyo, following reports Monday of the death of DPRK\'s leader Kim Jong Il. At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 78.01-02 yen against 78.00- 10 yen in New York and 77.91-93 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday. The euro fetched 1.3005-3006 dollar and 101.46-47 yen versus 1. 2994-3004 dollar and 101.37-47 yen in New York and 1.3008-3010 dollar and 101.35-39 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon.
