The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 113 yen zone on Monday, rising from levels seen in New York on Friday.
As trade opened here, the dollar was quoted at 113.93-95 yen compared with 113.17-27 yen in New York and 113.83-85 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0619-0619 dollars and 120.99-121.03 yen against 1.0638-0648 dollars and 120.44-54 yen in New York and 1.0639-0641 dollars and 121.11-15 yen in late afternoon trade on Friday.
