Turkey’s National Metro Holding Transportation Company signed a contract with Iran’s Didar Seyr Giti Company here Wednesday evening. The Managing Director of Metro Holding, Qaleb Uzturk evaluated the contract singed with the Managing Director of Didar Seyr, Mohammad-Sadeq Sahebkar, as beneficial and positive for both sides. According to the IRNA correspondent in Ankara, in a communiqué issued by Merto Holding we read that the terms of the contract include passenger transportation in Iran and Turkey, and construction of modern passenger terminals in Iran and Turkey. Another article of the bilateral agreement, according to the contract, reads, “Land transportation of passengers in Turkey can serve as a good model not only for the countries in the Middle East, but around the globe, as well.” The contract includes the activities of the two companies’ buses, provision of on-road rest facilities for the passengers, and construction of modern terminals in Iran and Turkey.
