Tamkeen recently inked a Memorandum of Understanding to closely cooperate with King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH) in the field of employment and training of Bahrainis. Held at Tamkeen premises, the signing ceremony was attended by Tamkeen’s Vice President for Enterprise and Human Capital Development, Dr. Ahmed Abdul Ghani Al Shaikh, and Brigadier-General Dr.Salman bin Atteyat Allah Al Khalifa, Director of King Hamad University Hospital. Tamkeen, by virtue of the MoU, provides a set of employment and training programmes to satisfy the human capital needs of King Hamad University Hospital as part of Tamkeen\'s continued efforts to provide qualification opportunities within the national healthcare sector. Commenting on the signing ceremony, Dr. Ahmed Abdul Ghani Al Shaikh said that this agreement lies at the heart of Tamkeen\'s efforts to develop human capital by providing better education to Bahraini workforce and training on world-class standards in order to have better outcomes in the marketplace. Dr. Al Shaikh added that Tamkeen will join forces with King Hamad University Hospital to bring the most reputed training providers on board as per every specialisation forming part of the programme. He elaborated that the training will be academically processed and is in line with the pre-requisites of King Hamad University Hospital which is a state-of-the-art hospital in the Kingdom serving the Muharraq Governorate. Tamkeen will make sure all requirements of the training programmes are fully covered to satisfy King Hamad University Hospital staff requirements. The 311-bed university hospital is designed and operated to be a center of academic and clinical excellence. The Hospital provides research and academic support for prestigious medical universities and organisations. King Hamad University Hospital is organised in accordance with the principles of working within a multi-disciplinary team with flexibility to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.
