Confeitaria Nacional, a Portuguese restaurant, opened in Riyadh on Oct. 19.
The event was attended by the Portugal's defense minister, secretary of state for internationalization of the Portuguese economy, the Portuguese ambassador, invitees, and business and media representatives.
Confeitaria Nacional, founded in 1829, is considered one of the most antique and traditional patisseries in Lisbon.
In addition, it was appointed one of the main suppliers of the Portuguese Royal Family by King Luis I. It has been honored with several international awards.
The restaurant boasts to offer elite Portuguese cuisine with upscale quality service.
Rawafed foods has the franchise of Confeitaria National in the GCC and elsewhere in the Middle East. During the last few years, it opened a number of international restaurant brands in Riyadh.
Saud Alarifi stated that the new Confeitaria Nacional restaurant in Riyadh aims to give a frensh and unique experience of Portuguese cuisine to food lovers in this part of the world.
The company says it is committed to develop and expand the brand successfully to gain customers’ satisfaction in terms of quality of food and services.
The restaurant has its own signature products such as pastel de nata, bolo rei and assorted delicacies, along with different types of coffee, Balthazar and different flavors of jams and natural honey.
The restaurant is located on west Tahlia Street in the capital city.
