The International Public Relations Association Gulf Chapter (IPRA-GC) will gather professionals and the most influential communications experts from across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Dubai from Oct. 25-27, to examine current issues and emerging trends.
The PR event in the region will include keynote speeches from Abdallah Jum’ah, Saudi Aramco's former president and CEO; Abdullatif Al-Othman, former governor and chairman of the board of SAGIA; and IPRA President Bart de Vries,
Other speakers include Nasser Al-Nafisee, VP of corporate affairs at Saudi Aramco; Ahmed bin Ali, senior VP of corporate communication at Etisalat; Tareq Ghosheh, VP of communication for Expo 2020; Sultan Al-Bazie, chairman of the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts; Nadeen Al-Bedair, TV presenter at Rotana; Rasha Kashkoush, head of communications at Facebook and Instagram for MENA & Turkey; Mohammed Osaimi, PR consultant and trainer at Saudi Aramco; Maryam bin Fahad, executive director of Dubai Press Club; Abdulrahman Al-Rashid, former head of MBC; and Nart Bouran, CEO of Sky News Arabia.
IPRA-GC President Hasan J. Evolving media strategies for PR is the theme of the three-day event comprising 12 conference sessions.
There will be eight interactive workshops conducted by communications experts from Saudi Aramco, LinkedIn and Lipincott covering several topics.
Saudi Aramco is the strategic partner of the conference in addition to Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC). Platinum sponsors of the event include Saudi Electric Company (SEC), Sadara Chemical Company, Saudi Telecom Co. (STC) and Rotana.
