GPIC organises family safety, health, environmental event

The Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) will hold a family celebration on Thursday to raise awareness about community culture and promote the application of safety, health and environmental principles.

Members of the company’s executive management, employees and their families will be at the event, which will have various competitions for children who will be able to win attractive prizes. Competitions will include drawing, painting and writing articles on health and safety and the environment.

GPIC's President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery will speak about GPIC’s programmes to promote safety, health and environmental issues and highlight the importance of applying safety standards not only at the workplace but also at home and within the community.

Several entertainment troupes and musical bands will perform at the event.
